  • The USS Enterprise, commissioned in 1961, was the world’s first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and one of the most iconic warships in modern history. The Legend Section #K deck depicts the Enterprise during her deployment with VF-142 “Ghostriders” in the Mediterranean in 1976, flying the F-14B Tomcat with BuNo. 159451. During this deployment, the Enterprise and her air wing conducted routine patrols and training exercises in the Mediterranean.
